my name is David Garcia is this is my family tree. I consider myself a
Cuban-American, a man with pride in his heritage and the nation he was
born as well. I was born on May 23, 1975 in Cedars Hospital in Miami,
Florida, in the United States of America. I was the first of my family
to be born in the United States.
I have always felt this duel pride.
I grew up here, in the U.S. listening to all the tales of Honest Abe and
about George Washington's honesty about cutting the cherry tree. I love
the United States, it might have many problems, but it is the greatest
country in the world. But my family came from Cuba. As I grew up,
living in an American community which had a strong pride in Cuba, my pride
in Cuba also grew.
Last, I am a devoted Christian and have
found out that the Garcia last name doesn't come from Spain but from Jews
how move to Spain during the Spanish Iquasition. Meaning that I could
somehow be realted directly to my Lord and Savior Jesus of Nazareth.
So this is my search for my geneology.
You can follow links of my parents to meet and read about them. Each of
their pages also have links to their parents, and their parents parents
and so on. For a clearer view of my family tree click
